For our special Valentine’s Day episode of Filles de comm, we wanted to talk about sex. But not in the form of juicy advice or miracle recipes to impress your significant other. Instead, we chose to approach it from our perspective as girls in communications — C-O-M-M — focusing on how sexuality is addressed in the media and on social networks, the discourse that takes up space… and those that still often remain marginalized.

It is in this spirit that we had the pleasure of welcoming two professionals in sexology who actively participate in evolving the conversations, both on digital platforms and in traditional media: Rozi Bertrand, co-founder of Apéro Sexo, and Anne-Marie Ménard, founder of the platform In bed with Anne-Marie.
Rozi Bertrand, in addition to providing consultation, hosts a podcast and offers conversation games that open the dialogue around sexuality. With Apéro Sexo, the goal is clear: to create safe spaces to talk about desire, boundaries, pleasure, and relationships, without shame and without judgment. An accessible, playful, and deeply human approach, which normalizes conversations that are still too often avoided.
Anne-Marie Ménard, for her part, is involved in multiple projects: entrepreneur and consultant for Espace Intime, speaker, host of masterclasses, author of the book In bed with Anne-Marie: female sexuality without taboos, for more pleasure!, creator of the game SEX TALK, and co-host of the podcast Datestable. Through her platforms, she offers a modern, inclusive, and rigorous sexual education, always grounded in the reality of the people she reaches.
At the heart of this episode, one idea comes back strongly: sexology is not limited to individual consultation. It is also a true communication effort. Speaking publicly about sexuality, especially as women and experts, involves juggling credibility, message accessibility, and the sometimes vague rules of social platforms, while dealing with misinformation and sometimes polarized reactions.
While traditional media today offers more space for these discussions, some taboos persist, particularly around pornography, feminism, and sexual education. In this context, every published content becomes a thoughtful gesture, where the aim is to convey clear, nuanced, and responsible information, in order to contribute to healthier and better-informed conversations in the public space. A beautiful exchange where no topic is taboo!
We’ll see you next month for a new episode of Filles de comm, the podcast by Thara Communications powered by Grenier.
