Discovering ACREA and the 2026 Gala influenceCréation

The content creation field continues to evolve at a rapid pace, and the InfluenceCréation Gala is establishing itself as a must-attend event for the industry. Behind this event is ACRÉA, the Association of Content Creators of Quebec, which works to structure, regulate, and promote this fast-growing practice.
With the 4th edition of the Gala approaching on May 30th, we take advantage of this episode of Filles de comm to take stock of what lies ahead this year, but also of the role ACRÉA plays in recognizing the profession of content creator.
To discuss this, we welcome:
Maude Belval, Senior Development Advisor at ACRÉA, board member, Executive Producer of the InfluenceCréation Gala, and co-founder of Wavency
Olivia Leclerc, content creator and ACRÉA board member.

The InfluenceCréation Gala is increasingly establishing itself as a flagship event for the industry. More than a simple awards ceremony, it brings together creators, brands, and industry players around a common ambition: to recognize the work behind content creation and to highlight its concrete contribution to the Quebec ecosystem.
Several key questions are addressed: How does the gala evolve from one edition to the next? How does the selection and nomination process work? And above all, how do we ensure the credibility of an event that is growing in scale?
The episode also takes a look at the broader role of ACRÉA, which is not limited to the gala. The association supports creators in their practice, encourages more ethical and transparent standards, and closely monitors major industry transformations.
An episode that highlights the behind-the-scenes of a maturing industry, as well as the efforts being made to better regulate, recognize, and promote it.
See you next month for a new episode of Filles de comm, the Thara Communications podcast.
